This is a real movie, it is not diseased by the urge to expand its audience as far as possible, "optimized" to the point where it can be experienced by the whole family together, adding a romantic subplot or the virtues of freedom and liberty, whatever, not giving a crap about the more intelligent part of the audience, who does not pay for Universal Soldier: Regeneration, to watch blonde cheerleaders whining for their family.
There is not a bit more talking or pointless character development in the movie, then necessary to make things work. Instead you get a realistic, raw, uncensored, brutal, cold blooded action movie, underlined by crispy, with a professional cinematography. You'll only rarely have some time to take a breath. The martial arts scenes are kicking some serious excitements, and please note, that the whole thing is breathtaking without one second of bullet time or CGI trucks exploding in mid air.
