  Donates Genuineness in Peculiar Small Films

  Blood Donation is an old theme nowadays. Why not sperm? Fertilization has been shown previously in movies like I AM, The Tree Of Life and more. But Vicky Donor bring an aspect of Comedy involving fertilization in the movie. That's a different and peculiar attempt introduced in Bollywood movie. A fresh theme with fresh stars featured in a feature film - Vicky Donor.

  With the rise of globalization we have witnessed many new themes entering in our Hindi cinemas. Few talked about the current happenings and then there were few others which spoke about the taboo subjects.   If one thing that did not appeal to me about this movie, it’d be its title...I was so unimpressed that I’d have let it go had it not been for the song ‘paani da rang’ and my neighbour, who raved about the reviews (which I had not read) and organized the movie evening. I am at my pinnacle of happiness when my pre-conceived notion about a movie is completely trashed...and this one did it right from the word go!

  Shoojit Sircar is back after a long hiatus after “Yahaan”, with “Vicky Donor”, the story focuses on the infertility clinics which are mushrooming and becoming a huge business giving hope to the modern day couples who cannot conceive due to stress or should I say “strass” (Punju lingo).
  Story is of such an infertility clinic run by Dr Chaddha (Anu Kapoor) who is in look out of a good Sperm Donor which will help his patients conceive.   ‘Vicky Donor’ is an extraordinary film with a topic which is not much talked about in India. It’s not openly discussed to be more precise. The film introduces the topic of sperm donation with the help of humour in it.
