    Kamal Haasan was the first hero from the south Indian industry who managed to make his own space in Hindi films. His first venture ‘Meethi Meethi Baatein’ in 1977 { Hindi dubbed} might have gone unnoticed but when ‘Ek Duuje Ke Liye’ released in 1981 everyone made a note of this fine actor. He kept working for few years and gave us some memorable performances in films like ‘Sadma’, ‘Saagar’, ‘Zara Si Zindagi’, ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’, etc. Despite of giving good performances he failed to create a big buzz over the box office and thus returned back to his regional cinema. First things first. Kamal Haasan's enormously controversial film doesn't hurt Muslim sentiments. In fact, it doesn't hurt the sentiments of any section of the people except those party-poopers who think having a ball at the movies went out of style with Sholay and Chachi 420.

Leave aside its sobering take on global warfare, Vishwaroop, the Hindi version of the Tamil, Telugu Vishwaroopam, is one helluva entertainer.
