If Robinhood from Sherhood forest comes to town-it would be like Ravi Kinagi’s new release “Wanted”.
But Ravi Kinagi is a master film makers who snatches parts from different film and put into a piece in his own film. So here at some time Robinhood of Sherhood forest becomes Dev Anand of “Hum Dono”.
Anyway, let us start depicting the filmi-Kahani Raja(Jeet) is a contract killer, but he has a heart of gold. A corrupt minister(Biplab Chatterjee) has made his smooth life like hell. So Raja has taken a mission to kill that corrupt minister. But there is a cop (Sharad Kapoor) too, who is running after Raja as he is charged guilty by the minister. But Raja and the audience known that Raja is not guilty, only the cops don’t know. So they run after Raja throughout the film.
On the run from the police, Raja take shelter in Shibu’s house. Who is Shibu? Shibu is Raja’s friend who has left the house when he was a boy.But Raja has an elephantine memory to find out the Shibu’s house after such a long time.
And then the “Hum Dono” fiim starts. Everybody in Shibu’s house think that Shibu has returned after such a long time. Nobody bothers to believe him as Raja. Not even Pooja(Shrabanti), who was probably waiting for the return of Shibu.
Anyway then Jeet and Shrabanti Chemistry starts. They even reach to Pattaya beach in their dreams. Rajesh Roy was waiting for this moment. As Jeet & Shrabanti reaching Pattaya he starts pouring loathes of “Jhin-chak” music with song.
After a long time Jeet is back in his bang-bang acting role. Good to see him in such a role after “Kranti”. But he should concentrate in his acting more. Sharad Kapoor is unbearable with his accented Bangla. Shrabanti is also good. In a small cameo role Kharaj Mukherjee is brilliant. Aritro is also there with his enchoray-paka act one more time.
