Many Americans have grown up on Maurice Sendak’s vividly imaginative illustrated story ‘Where the wild things are’ and Spike Jonze (Being John Malkovich,Adaptation) tries to capture it all on celluloid with great reverence and faithfulness but for audiences outside of the Americas this will most likely appear too farfetched and ambitious. It’s not much of a story fact it was the child friendly illustrations that really did the trick for Maurice Sedak’s childrens’ novellamore

There is nothing as unfettered as a child's imagination.
