Gautam Ghosh is not known for making entertainers. So, when I got down to watching Yatra, I was ready for an intellectual journey. And that is what I got. A very original story, fabulous cinematography, and an excellent performance by Nana Patekar made up for the inherent weaknesses in screenplay and writing. The dialogues are very good for a novel...and you would like to read them; however, when translated to the screen, they sometimes seem heavy.
