Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is the story of two opposite characters, Naina Talwar (Deepika Padukone), a studious bespectacled girl and Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor), a carefree young boy.
They are from the same batch at Modern School. Bunny with his group of friends embarks on a journey to find freedom. He meets Naina but fails to recognize her.
Eventually, they end up spending time together. As the two mature from the age of 21 to their 30's, they realize their true desires.
