    Vicky (Ajay Devgan) and Saakshi (Priety Zinta) are con artists and deal with stealing of cars after stealing five cars, they go to sell them to Bhanwarlal Gulati (Deep Dhillon) who refuses to buy them for more than One Lakh, but one of his brother who is interested in Saakshi decides to let them sell it for Five Lakhs. When later Vicky and Saakshi come to collect money, a fight occus between Vicky and another brother of Bhanwarlal's and the brother gets accidently gets killed. Vicky and Saakshi goes to the police station to surrender themselves but Bhanwarlal reaches there to tell the police that they are innocent. Vicky and Saakshi are happy and going back that suddenly a truck tries to run over their car. Somehow they manage to survive but Bhanwarlal catches them. Vicky hides inside a hotel while his look-alike Rohit Verma (Ajay Devgan again) is killed. Saakshi thinks that she has lost her love and is devastated. Vicky now reaches Rohit's place where everyone recognises him, which surprises him a lot. Soon he finds out that he has reached the house of his look-alike. Rohit's father (Vikram Gokhale) requests Vicky to make his daughter-in-law, Neha (Madhuri Dixit) remember her past who has become mad as she had seen Rohit being killed. What will Vicky do? Will he accept the request for which he would be paid Rupees Forty Lakhs? Or he would run away from there to Saakshi? Can he help cure Neha?
